What a beautiful weekend! Weather was not too bad, at least the sun was shining. Managed to salt enough of the driveway that it pretty much all melted so we won't have to worry about slipping as we make our way to our car! Got lots of laundry done and some well deserved cleaning as well! No weight loss this week but as I've been going, it seems like every second week so hopefully Saturday will be a couple more to add to the pile. At the end of this weekend it'll be 2 months and I would love to loose 3 more to make it 20lbs.
Other than that, things are quiet. My friend Carrie is suppose to be buying a house and doing the closing this weekend so I may head up there, depending on what goes on. Other than that, quiet quiet!

Portrait
Wes took 3 pictures to this guy to get a portrait done of him, his grandfather and his father each playing their own instruments since no picture existed. Here is the finished product! It's amazing, he did such a good job!

Let's add 5 more pounds to the total please!
Yup, that's right, 5 more pounds lost so I'm up to 17 pounds lost since January 4th! Not to shabby I must say, I'm working hard for it though! 30 mins on the eliptical, using the ab machinea nd this other machine that's kind of like a side crunch in a way, leg abductions and some weights for my jiggly arms about 4-5 times a week! Not to bad! Oh yeah, and no sweet stuff or processed food! Gotta love it! But it's working so I'm stickin with it!

Friday Friday...
Well it's Friday, what a week!! It's been fairly busy, and I've been really tired! I can't seem to get a good nights sleep. I thought that by working out it would tire me out some. Guess not! Gym has been going pretty good. All i'm really doing at the moment is 30 mins on the Eliptical, some abs, the love handle machine (is what I call it), leg abductions and bit of weights for my arms. I didn't loose any last week but I think I will this week. My scale at home is down some so that's good! I think I should only weigh every two weeks instead of every week. Seems that one week I don't loose then the next I do! But it all seems to be doing the trick! My close are quite loose on me now and some pants that I've chosen not to wear (too tight) in the past year are fitting again! Whoohoo!! I'm feeling great and loving the results! I can't wait to get smaller so I can go shopping! Finally be able to get some clothes that I really want to wear instead of what I can only wear!

Plans for the weekend - hmmm...CLEAN! Hopefully Wes will get done is diorama (I will post some pics of it, he's done a LOT of work on it. Pics probably won't justify) I can do a good cleaning. I think tomorrow we're going to an auction - 2 estate sales. Should be fun. Oh yeah, and of course, gym today, tomorrow and Sunday!! Sunday is the Daytona 500 so we'll be tuned into that. Think we may make a nice roast supper! yummy!

Monday already
Wow, the weekend sure past by quick! It was a pretty low key weekend, which was a nice change since we've been quite busy the past month on the weekends. Friday after work I went to the gym, came home, ate supper then helped Wes with his diorama. He's been working on it for a bit now. Its' pretty neat, I'll definately post pics once it's completely, which should be in the next few days. Saturday I went to the gym first thing in the morning then went into the sauna for 30 minutes! Wowsers what hot!! 150 degree heat! I sweat though, let me tell ya! That afternoon I knit and started to put my little afghan together. Sunday went to the gym again and came home and cleaned up a bit, helped Wes again with his diorama, did laundry and took a spin to Walmart. That was about it! Fairly quiet, but nice and relaxing!
I didn't loose any weight this past week, but my spirits are still high! We'll see what happens this coming week! I've upted my time to 30 minutes on the eliptical as of the middle of last week so maybe the results will come this week!
I've been still eating fairly well but I think I'm eating too much carbs. Any ideas on high protein things I can eat instead of toast or bagel in the am, potatoes/rice/pasta for supper?!?! Since I've been on this I've never eaten so many potatoes - about 3 times a week! But god they are good!
Anyway, any suggestions, tips, hints would be great!

Diet Update
Well I'm up to 12 lbs lost in a month! Whoohooo! I weighed in on Sunday for the week and lost 4 more! So week 1 lost 5lbs, week 2 lost 3lbs, week 3 lost 0 lbs, week 4 lost 4 lbs! As well, measured myself for fun on Sunday and I lost 2.5 inches on my thighs, 1 inch off my calf, 2 on my waist, .5 off my hips, .5 off my neck. Imagine, that's really only after 3 weeks! I'm stoked!!
