The weekend is over and work has begun again! Oh well, at least it's Tuesday and there are only 3 more days of work besides today!
Our weekend was great! We took a spur of the moment trip to Moncton and got to see Julie and Gerry and Staci for a bit. We also took a trip to Champlain Mall, HomeSense and Michaels! I picked up a few little things. It was a great trip and nice to get away!
My weigh in didn't go as planned (unforseen bowel issues), but I will be jumping on this weekend. It seems to be down again, so we'll see. I'm hoping it is!!
Other than that, things are quiet. I'm finally done knitting all the squares for my little afghan/blanket type thing I'm making. It took long enough!! Hopefully I'll get up home or Mom will get down to see me so she can teach me how to crochet it all together. I attempted to sew the squares together, but it didn't look good. So I'll wait until I get some help to finish it off! I'll post a pic of it once it's completed.
My 28th birthday is next week! Wow, can't believe I'll be 28 already! Time sure flies! No real big plans I don't think. I'm taking Friday the 16th off and we're heading to Moncton again. Staci is going to do my hair - trim, color and highlight. Quite anxious for that, I need a little change!
Well I should be on my way for now. Almost break time!

Arrah...I really am hating the 28...but the funny thing is that as we get older are birthdays become less and less important...well I guess my 27 wasn't much of a milestone because I was at work the other day and one of the kids were teasing me about 27 and I answered back and defended myself that i was 26.....then it dawned on me...shit...I really am 27 and I am going to be 28...this is really starting to get crazy....we are getting so old...think back when we were 17 and 18...what did we think about people our age....yuck..ahahah....well you are the first one to turn 28...enjoy......I love that you were always the first to go through every thing...licenses...everything..ahahah.....love ya..

I too hated turning 28....just that much closer to 30 then...... However when I take a look at my life I would never go back to 20 again...not with all I have now: loving husband, beautiful home, interesting job and FANTASTIC daughter! I guess I have to look at birthdays as a blessing!! Right. Honestly, now I am looking forward to many more birthdays. Let's face it Arrah we are getting older but it is a honor to do so!
