Well the weekend is over. We had a pretty good weekend I guess, except maybe for the dog sitting part of it! The puppy is so damn cute but he's not fully trained and doesn't always pee and poop on target. Mind you we only have 3.5 more days of it. Just a hassel running up there 3 times a day to stay for an hour, clean poop and pee and play with the doggy. I'll try to post some pictures of her by the end of the week.
Friday night we didn't do too much, checked the puppy, took her for her 1st walk, then went to Bargain Giant to look at a little night table that was in the flyer and went to Walmart. Saturday BBQ'ed supper then went to the Exhibition that night. Sunday watched the race! That was about all! Quiet but nice.
So Wes travels to F'ton on Friday to see about a surgery date and to get a bunch of tests done. Hopefully the date will be in the very near future, within a month or two.
We are heavily debating on taking a trip to Louden NH next year to see a Nascar Race. Probably the race in September - it may not be as hot as July's race. I've checked a few tour places out and looks like we could go for like $465 each for 3 nights - that includes our hotel room, continental breakfast, drive there and back, tickets to Busch and Nextel race as well as transportation from hotel to track each time. So that's not too bad, considering tickets for the event could run anywhere from 50-100, depending. It would be quite the experience. Anyway, we'll see. It'll kind of be like a 2 year anniversary present to ourselves. Probably include Christmas in there too!
Speaking of Christmas - I'm looking for ideas of crafty things to make this year. I may do some more of those fuzzy scarves, and at the office we are thinking of doing some kind of snowman thing with tomato trellis things. They showed me pictures and they are quite cute.
Oh yeah, Staci got her car yesterday. 2002 Saturn something or another. Silver in color I believe. Only 18,000km on it. Not bad! Get this - she's calling it Lolita! What a gal! Special she is! ;o)
Gonna run for now!
